Friends and family gathered to celebrate Jenny and David at Planet Bluegrass in Lyons, CO on June 12. This was the ultimate Colorado wedding at Planet Bluegrass in Lyons, Colorado. The David is the brew master at Boulder Beer and Jenny is a Boulder teacher so all the details of the wedding highlighted the best of Boulder, Colorado. There was amazing beer with a custom wedding label, gorgeous pink peonies, a marimba band played during cocktail hour, incredible music by HomeSlice, and of course delicious food and cake.

Congratulations to you both! It was a beautiful day. Have a wonderful honeymoon!

Keira and Joe – Part Two

Here is part two of Keira and Joe’s wedding weekend at Dunton Hot Springs. If you are like me and always read the travel section of the Sunday times first, put Dunton on your list of places to visit. One of my favorite parts of this wedding were all the details. Keira went to RISD and is an amazing architect so her attention to everything artistic was perfect from her handmade jewelry to her collaboration on all the letterpress by Alli at Bird Dog Press.

Keira and Joe – Part One

Keira and Joe had an intimate wedding at Dunton Springs in November. Dunton Springs, an old mining town, is a magical place in the southwest corner of Colorado. Keira and Joe were accompanied by their close friends for a weekend of delicious food, many laughs, soaks in the hot springs, and of course a hike. About a mile up the mountain in an Aspen grove is where the ceremony took place on Saturday afternoon. Being avid trail runners and hikers, it was a perfect spot to say their vows and have their first kiss as husband and wife.

I wanted to start my blog off with the invitation created by Keira and Alli of Bird Dog Press. As an architect, Keira built amazing invitations. Each guest including myself received one and they are a piece of art. It was fun to photograph the invitations in the place that inspired them.
