Yesterday the family took a trip to Pickle Gulch Campground to cut down our own tree. Through the forest service, you can buy a permit for $10 to cut down a tree and help thin out the forest to prevent forest fires. Two kids, one dog, one red sled, and one tiny saw, we hiked a 1/4 miles to find our authentic colorado christmas tree. I think we just found a new family tradition. Once we finish decorating it, I will post a photo of final project.

This is our tree. Ain't she a beauty?

The tree actually fell down on Maddie's head. Oops.

Probably my favorite winter photo of Grayson. Think Patagonia would be interested in this shot?
