Keira and Joe had an intimate wedding at Dunton Springs in November. Dunton Springs, an old mining town, is a magical place in the southwest corner of Colorado. Keira and Joe were accompanied by their close friends for a weekend of delicious food, many laughs, soaks in the hot springs, and of course a hike. About a mile up the mountain in an Aspen grove is where the ceremony took place on Saturday afternoon. Being avid trail runners and hikers, it was a perfect spot to say their vows and have their first kiss as husband and wife.
I wanted to start my blog off with the invitation created by Keira and Alli of Bird Dog Press. As an architect, Keira built amazing invitations. Each guest including myself received one and they are a piece of art. It was fun to photograph the invitations in the place that inspired them.
